A UK-based hydrogen bus company will make their way to Europe, Asia and North America thanks to the funding

Planning permission is yet to be granted for the project, that would see a green hydrogen facility built in Ballymena

Wrightbus has secured the funding, as it looks to build 3,000 zero-emission buses

The deal struck with Wrightbus is said to be one of the UK’s largest ever EV bus orders

Wrightbus will deliver 20 buses to the company this June

They will work alongside the UK government to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen in the sector

The buses are the first in operation of 139 from the EU’s Joint Initiative for hydrogen Vehicles across Europe project
