Amazon to invest in major Scottish wind farm

Amazon is reportedly set to invest in the Moray West offshore wind farm, as part of its initiative to power its entire UK operations with renewable energy by the following year.

The company, employing approximately 75,000 people in the UK, plans to announce the deal later this month, involving the purchase of electricity from the wind farm.

The Moray West project, located off the northeast coast of Scotland and managed by a joint venture between EDPR and ENGIE, is currently under construction and expected to begin operations later this year.
