Joanne Wade, Chief Strategic Advisor at the Association for Decentralised Energy and independent consultant
Joanne's areas of expertise include local energy systems, energy efficiency in buildings, energy sufficiency and the multiple benefits of energy demand reduction. She chairs the Advisory Board for the Centre for Research on Energy Demand Solutions (CREDS) and the Research Committee for the UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC), and is Vice President of the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy. Joanne is a Fellow and Member of Council of the Energy Institute. She was appointed an OBE in 2018 for services to energy efficiency.

Dan is Chief Executive of the Economic Policy Centre, the think tank hub of the UK economics community, and former Chief Executive of Future Energy Strategies, an energy events and reporting company which worked to research the energy industry of tomorrow. He is also Director of UKCrimeStats, the leading independent crime data platform and www.eutariffs.com, the leading independent analysis database of the import tariffs of the EU’s Customs Union. He has contributed to amongst others, The Daily Telegraph, the Wall Street Journal Europe, The Yorkshire Post, European CEO, World Finance and Power Engineer Magazines. He has also spoken on many radio and TV programmes including Radio 4’s The Today Programme, Sky News, BBC World Service and 5 live as well as BBC News 24 TV.
