Intimate skincare brand Rosebud Woman on path to becoming carbon-neutral

Intimate skincare brand Rosebud Woman on path to becoming carbon-neutral

Rosebud Woman, a global manufacturer of intimate skincare products for women, has announced it is taking steps to become a carbon-neutral company.

The California-based company has partnered with Cooler, whose software instantly calculates and neutralises the carbon footprint of any product or service, to achieve its goal.

That includes measuring the carbon impact of the entire product line, from how the ingredients are sourced and packaged to how the products are shipped.

Cooler's approach helps eliminate emissions in real-time and invests instead in energy efficiency, conversation and job creation projects.

Rosebud Woman says knowing the footprint of its products enables it to eliminate an equivalent amount of greenhouse gases, "making every customer purchase carbon neutral" starting later this year.

Rosebud Woman Founder Christine Marie Mason adds: “This collaboration will stand with the other commitments to sustainability that we have made from the outset. These include Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper, organic sourcing and green energy.

“Protecting our planet is up to all of us. We hope this new partnership will help our community members feel even more confident about shopping with Rosebud Woman. We see this as another step towards harmony between businesses, makers, workers, citizens and all of nature.”
