Motor Fuel Group has pledged to invest £50 million into electric vehicle (EV) chargers this year.
This follows its previous announcement that it would invest £400 million into EV infrastructure by the end of the decade.
It is planning to install more than 350 EV chargers at 60 new fast-charging sites across the UK in 2022.
Last year, it invested £40 million into EV infrastructure, culminating in a charging forecourt in Putney and rapid-charging site in Manchester.
William Bannister, Chief Executive, said: “Our EV sites are modern in design and provide a high-quality retail and consumer experience for the community and for motorists to use whilst charging their vehicles.”
