Get riding for a pain free life! Join us on the ELN Power Ride

At ELN we love a challenge - it's just as well, because this morning our annual Power Ride has rolled into the Redbridge Cycling Centre for the third year running.

We have hired out the cycle track to help raise money for Arthritis Research, which is battling to find a cure or effective treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis and other related conditions.

Our Editor Sumit Bose lives with the disease and has experienced its debilitating nature first hand... we also know many more of you out there have some form of arthritis or know someone who does, so please help by doing something that shows the energy sector is as caring as we all know it is!

Of course, it isn’t easy to get to the track if you’re not in the South East, so we’d like you to do your own 'Power Ride' wherever you are, even if it is just your daily commute. Keep tabs on the distance you manage to ride today and we'll be glad to add it to our figures.

We’d ask you to make a donation of £1 per km you ride - our target is to reach £10,000 so that’s 10,000km ridden.

Big thanks to CNG, who are running their own bike ride up north, as well as Anne and her team at Power Direct Limited, who have already raised cash for the cause.
