Job of the Week – UK Sales Director – McLean Ross

Our client is a well-respected energy and sustainability management consultancy headquartered in the United States. They currently seek a UK Sales Director to join their organisation. The purpose of the role is to develop strategic solution-selling of energy and sustainability management services to UK-headquartered national or international companies requesting services across Europe and North America.

The UK Sales Director will accelerate the successful growth of our client in the UK and in Europe, by establishing and leveraging leads from current Fortune 500 clients in the United States. The role will serve as a “bridge” between our client and the larger group organizations helping speed the development of their international solution, foster collaboration and improve communication.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Track record of success in sales or business development, in a high growth, high tech environment, preferably within the utilities industry
  • Experience handling complex sales and negotiation processes
  • At ease demonstrating product functionality and providing an overview of use cases and value propositions
  • Familiar with liaising and selling to senior executives; excellent interpersonal and rapport-building abilities, experience working with C-level/SVP-level executives

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation with a truly global footprint. The salary for this position is £70,000 - £100,000 base with uncapped commission. Home based UK location with London as a preference.
