UK energy consultancy buys Lincolnshire broker

A UK energy consultancy has announced the purchase of a similar business.

Green Energy Consulting said the transaction is part of the company’s national growth strategy.

It works with clients such as Christian Dior, H&M and BP on all energy issues from procurement through to implementing energy management and consumption reduction strategies.

It has bought Energy Management Services (EMS), an independent consultancy and brokerage in the regulated and deregulated electricity and natural gas markets.

The acquisition is expected to help Green Energy Consulting move into new markets, including the agricultural, holiday village and caravan sectors.
