Gas and electricity supplier First Utility has cuts its prices to 2012 levels.

The energy company has introduced a new plan called, iSave Fixed June v2, to save prices on electricity and gas bills until 2017.

The tariff costs £994 a year set for two years. First Utility claims this will save £58 a year reduction compared to its last tariff iSaved Fixed June v1 which was £1052 a year.

The company claims customers would typically save an average of £229 a year on their energy under the new price plan.
