ELN cyclists set off from Tate Modern

ELN cyclists set off from Tate Modern

The ELN boys set off at 11am this morning from ex-power station Tate Modern in London on their intrepid Power Ride to raise cash for Parkinson’s UK.

Perched on freshly polished bikes, ELN’s Sumit Bose and Geoff Curran were joined at the starting line by Dave Clark, the Sky Sports darts presenter battling with Parkinson’s himself.

Dave’s father died after suffering from the disease and so he is a keen supporter of the cause.

Over the next week ELN’s cyclists will tour some of the UK’s most iconic power plants, clad in blue Parkinson’s UK jerseys.

Blessed with sunshine for their first day of pedal-pushing, today they wind their way through the Lea Valley and its several power plants to Royston. They'll end a week on the saddle at Drax power plant in Yorkshire.

Please donate what you can to help the riders reach their £10k target and if you want to get involved or ride then email us.
