British Safety Council launches 2012 international safety award

The British Safety Council's 2012 awards for safety in the workplace are now open for application.

The global health and safety advocates take submissions for their International Safety Awards from sectors including energy generation and transmission, facilities management, oil and gas, transport and utilities.

Last year the awards recognised Wylfa Nuclear Power Station in Anglesey, North Wales and British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin Lagonda among others.
