Oil and gas e-learning firm Atlas has won two regional awards in the annual Chamber Awards. Coming top in Scotland's Innovation through Technology Award and Business of the Year takes the Aberdeen firm through as a finalist for the UK title.
Other firms jostling for the British Chambers of Commerce's national award include environmental waste firm Vital Earth, which won a Sustainability Award in the East Midlands and the office supplies dealer group, Office Friendly Dealer Association Limited, which won the same award for Yorkshire & Humberside.
John Longworth, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce said: "Many of these business owners are working day in day out to build upon the companies they have built from scratch, creating jobs in local communities, and contributing to the economic recovery we so desperately need. We're delighted to be able to celebrate the success of these companies through the Chamber Awards."
