The water regulator has ordered water companies in England and Wales to refund customers due to widespread underperformance

The Industry and Regulators Committee has sent a letter to the government, highlighting concerns about various issues, including underinvestment, increasing water bills and the absence of social tariffs

The eight-year bond will go towards projects that improve the resilience of water and wastewater infrastructure, reduce carbon emissions and support customers struggling to pay their bills
