Vattenfall Heat UK and Midlothian Council’s joint venture is set to provide low carbon heating to around 3,000 homes, using waste heat from recycling centres and mines

They have signed a letter of intent for the collaboration, which will see the companies find business solutions to reduce the need for fossil fuels in the mining operations
