DHL plans to deploy 92 locally fueled biomethane trucks across Tesco’s nationwide distribution network.

The move is estimated to deliver a 2,200-tonne reduction in carbon emissions every year

Volvo Trucks will deliver a total of 44 new electric trucks which will be used by DHL for package deliveries on routes across Europe

The deal is expected to reduce carbon emissions to the same level as taking 400,000 cars off the road

DHL will remain responsible for all zero-emission freight transported to the tournament

The companies claim the LNG is made from agricultural waste and is 85% less carbon-intensive than diesel
