At Drax, we’re helping our customers across many industries – including agriculture, education, manufacturing, the public sector, transport and utilities – to decarbonise. We achieve this by supplying renewable source electricity as standard and offering added value services.

Our purpose is to enable a zero carbon, lower cost energy future. The renewable power we generate and the negative emissions technology we’re developing support this purpose, as well as the UK’s transition to sustainable energy.

Our decarbonisation services include helping customers transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and providing guaranteed monthly savings where we can find power consumption flexibility. In addition to generating our own renewable electricity, we provide regular income to independent generators through our range of power purchase agreements.

All these services support our customers as they strive to achieve their commercial aims, as well as their environmental, social and governance (ESG) targets.
