Miriam Atkin, Director of Energy, Gemserv
Miriam is Director of Energy having joined Gemserv in October 2018 from the public services company Serco. Since joining Gemserv Miriam has been responsible for the delivery of services to our major Energy clients. Miriam worked in Serco for eleven years in roles spanning Business Operations, Finance and IT. A Chartered Accountant, Miriam trained with Grant Thornton before moving into business finance roles with The AA and Centrica, prior to joining Serco.
Rubina Singh, Ideation Delivery Lead, Centrica
Rubina leads the Ideation Delivery Team at Centrica to drive ideation and rapidly take new and compelling services & solutions to market. She is passionate about creating a net-zero future and serves as an Advisory Expert to the Solar Impulse Foundation and volunteers her time as judge/mentor at cleantech competitions. Rubina is a regular speaker at international conferences and a thought leader with more than 10 publications on distributed energy technologies in leading journals including IEEE, TechCrunch and PV Tech Power. She is a passionate advocate of women in clean energy and EVs, striving to create a more diverse and inclusive future. For her contributions to the UK energy industry, she was selected as the UK Young Energy Professional of the Year 2020 and won the 2020 GWIIN Award for Significant Inspirational Achievements in the Energy Industry.
