New for 2016 we are launching this award. Who is the person that you turn to for advice? Who is the one whose opinion matters? Who makes the smart decisions based on the best knowledge of our complex world of energy?

We will be surveying energy end users, suppliers and industry players as to who stands out in the TPI world as an Industry Expert. We will do this via email and telemarketing and draw up a shortlist of five worthy candidates.

We then ask each shortlisted Expert to write no more than 500 words as to why they think they have been recognised by the industry as such a leading light. The final panel will then judge these entries on the following criteria:

• Knowledge of industry including where they think the industry is going
• Level of contacts within industry
• What impact in the industry they have had

Please note:

• Judges’ decisions are final and binding; and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into relating to any of their decisions.
• The shortlist will be announced on May 16^th Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. on May 30^th 2016 and the winner announced on June 30^th at the awards ceremony.
• There is no entry fee for this award.
• Shortlisted Industry Experts will be guaranteed two tickets to the awards ceremony.
