Carbon accounting and footprinting

Carbon reporting is the process of measuring and reporting an organisation’s carbon emissions, to understand their contributions to climate change, so they can work towards reducing it. Without carbon reporting, it can be difficult to know where a company should focus its time and resources to cut overall emissions. Currently, large corporations and organisations are required to measure certain emissions. Other, smaller, companies are volunteering to report emissions to show they are committed to net zero.
