Kraken expands into American energy sector

Data platform Kraken has signed a contract to expand into the American energy sector

End-to-end, cloud, data and AI platform for utility digitalisation and transformation, Kraken, has signed a five-year deal with electricity service providers, Champion Energy Services, to expand into the North American market.

Champion will license Kraken’s demand flexibility solution and customer service platform. It will onboard its residential customers in Texas to Kraken’s energy management system, starting in 2025.

These changes will not interrupt Champion’s customer service or result in any new fees for Champion’s residential customers.

Kraken manages more than 50 million accounts, over 40 GW of power and over 250,000 consumer devices such as electric cars and charging stations.
