Electrolyser manufacturer Enapter is bringing Anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolysers, an essential green hydrogen technology, to China.
The company signed a contract to supply the technology worth €6 million (£5.1m) to Chinese engine manufacturer Wolong.
The AEM electrolysers will be used at various test sites for different applications.
The companies hope to create a competitive hydrogen solutions market in China and become the leading providers of AEM electrolysers.
Douglas Pang, Chairman of Wolong Electric Drive Group said: “Our company visions fit together perfectly: Enapter has the goal of being the world’s leading provider of AEM Electrolysers.
“Wolong shares this vision and wants to play a key role as a manufacturer in China to expand the local and global hydrogen industry with Wolong components.”
