Renewable energy investors, RP Global, and Marguerite have sold two of their wind farms to Engie Zielona Energia.
The wind farms together produce 103MW of power.
The two wind farms, situated in north-western Poland’s Tychowo and Kukinia regions, were built in 2009 and 2013, respectively – both are fully operational.
RP Glabal says it will use the funds from the sale to finance new renewable energy projects in Poland.
Gerhard Matzinger, Chief Executive Officer of RP Global said: “Divestments are an important tool to help us rebalance and optimise our portfolio. Our commitment to green energy remains of course stronger than ever.
“With the sale of these wind farms, RP Global will free up significant cash flow to actively invest in new opportunities within the renewable energy sector.”
