Nuclear energy is low carbon, the government has even said it’s sustainable. It’s a vital part of our net zero future but there is always one real issue, the waste.

There is no doubt nuclear fuel waste is an enormous problem but one man thinks he has the answer. Listen to my chat with Stefano Buono a former CERN scientist, who has set up a newcleo, a company which believes it can elmininate huge amounts of nuclear waste using fast lead reactor tech.
