Telford gaining 70 new EV charging points

Telford and Wrekin Council has announced that 70 electric vehicle (EV) charging points will be installed throughout the town.

This is after more than £680,000 has been given to the council by the government, allowing it to overachieve based on its original aim of having 41 chargers installed.

Each charger can charge two cars and the council is currently looking to give the installation contracts to an interested company.
