‘We need 5bn tonnes of carbon capture to avoid climate catastrophe’

“Industrially, we emit 10 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide per annum. The worldwide capacity to capture is only 40 million tonnes. We actually need five billion tonnes of carbon capture to avoid climate catastrophe.”

That’s what Carbon Clean’s Iain Tobin had to say on the Net Hero Podcast this week.
