Audi has said that its global sales of electric cars jumped up by 43% for the first quarter of this year.
More than 415,000 cars have been sold by the automaker in 2023 so far, with the Audi Q4 accounting for two-thirds of its electric vehicle (EV) sales.
The company has said the level of sales now means that more than 8% of its overall share is from EVs.
It is expected to sell more than 100,000 EVs this year – with the release of its new Q8 E-Tron expected to ramp these up further.
From 2026, the German giant will only bring electric car models to the market – which will see this trend continue in the coming years.
