ENGIE teams up to build low carbon trucking network

ENGIE and Sanef have announced a partnership to establish a European network of low carbon truck fuelling and charging terminals.

The ‘European Clean Transport Network’ alliance is exploring the feasibility of the project in France; between Lille and Avignon.

Low carbon biogas, hydrogen and electric energy technology for charging and refuelling trucks will be available at charging stations, as well as software solutions for planning routes and schedules.

The companies are hopeful that this initiative will represent a significant step towards reducing the carbon footprint of the transportation industry.
