Fiat to have fully electrified range from July

The company will stop selling non-electric models in the UK this summer

Big Zero Report 2023

Fiat has announced it will stop selling all non-electric vehicles in the UK from 1st July 2022.

The entire Fiat range will now only be available in hybrid or fully electric form, a step up from 60% of its range being electric last year.

It claims its Fiat 500 Electric is now the best-selling city electric vehicle (EV) in eleven countries – and the second-best sold EV in Europe, only behind Tesla.

Greg Taylor, UK Managing Director, said: “This step in Fiat’s history marks a pivotal point in our commitment to providing affordable and sustainable mobility solutions for all of our customers.

“The move lends itself to our vehicles which are suited to urban areas, spearheaded by the popularity of the New 500.”
