Gridserve and Moto have launched a new electric vehicle (EV) charging hub on the M25.

The site, between junctions 30 and 31, features 12 EV chargers, which can provide up to 350KW of power.

Gridserve claims that these chargers can provide a 117-mile range with 15 minutes of charging.

The chargers are powered by 100% renewable energy from solar and battery farms.

The company has been steadily expanding its EV network across the UK, with this Thurrock site joining a 35-charger site launched in Norwich last month.

Toddington Harper, Gridserve CEO, said: “We are committed to building a UK-wide charging network at a speed that will help give EV drivers the confidence they need to undertake any journey, irrespective of what electric vehicle they drive, and charge quickly, reliably and affordably. This is what is necessary to move the needle on climate change.”
