Two companies have launched what they claim is the world’s first carbon-neutral car park.

YourParkingSpace and Circular Ecology have stated the London car park is run on entirely renewable energy – and it’s the first car park to fully offset carbon emissions from drivers parking on the premises.

To ensure the amount of carbon savings is equivalent to what the drivers have travelled, the average distance to and from the car park is calculated and then offset using the WWF’s carbon scheme.
