First Hydrogen looks to increase domestic green hydrogen production

First Hydrogen has identified four new possible sites to develop green hydrogen projects in the UK.

The company has revealed these four industrial sites are spread across the north and south of the country and can all accommodate for the construction and operations of large hydrogen refuelling stations.

In total, the four sites would represent between 80 and 160MW of hydrogen production.

These prospective sites would provide green hydrogen to Liverpool, Manchester and London.

First Hydrogen is confident these projects will be funded by the government, as part of its new target to deliver 10GW of domestic hydrogen, with 5GW of this being green.
