Formula 1 and Salesforce sign five-year deal to cut carbon footprint

Formula 1 (F1) has signed a five-year agreement with CRM service Salesforce to lower its carbon footprint and help it achieve its aim of net zero by 2030.

Salesforce currently has achieved net zero emissions throughout its entire value chain, using 100% renewable energy for global operations.

The CRM provider will help F1 track its carbon using its Net Zero Cloud platform, which provides insight into the emissions generated from different areas of the business.

Fan data will also be provided through the partnership to help F1 understand the climate impacts its fans have when attending races and how these can be offset.
