Italian luxury car maker Maserati has committed to all its new cars being electric by the end of the decade.

The announcement was made alongside the promise of its new electric range, with it claiming that it will become the first luxury brand to launch a 100% electric sports car.

This car will be the new GranTurismo and will hit the market in 2023, using technologies from Formula E and built at its Mirafiori plant.
