DocGo debuts all-electric ambulance in a ‘first’ for the US

DocGo, a provider of last-mile mobile heath services and medical mobility solutions, has announced the delivery of its new all-electric ambulance.

The zero emission vehicle, claimed to be the first of its kind to be registered in the US, supports the company's latest sustainability mission to have an all-electric fleet by 2032.

DocGo worked with Lightning eMotors, a provider of specialised and sustainable fleet solutions, to develop the new vehicle, which has the potential to lower patient transportation costs due to reduced fuel costs and maintenance needs.

Stan Vashovsky, DocGo CEO and Founder said: “We are tireless in our quest to innovate how care is provided.

“Our ‘Zero Emission’ Initiative exemplifies how DocGo is revolutionising the delivery of mobile medical care and building a company that’s better for our patients, for our care providers, for our customers and for the planet.”
