Schneider Electric appoints Philippe Delorme as Executive Vice-President Europe Operations

Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has appointed Philippe Delorme as the new Executive Vice-President Europe Operations, starting from 1 April 2022.

Philippe Delorme, currently Executive Vice-President Energy Management at Schneider Electric, will retain his role as a member of the company’s Executive Committee. This change follows the announcement of Christel Heydemann’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Orange, who is currently Executive Vice-President Europe Operations at Schneider Electric.

In his new role, Philippe Delorme will be responsible for Schneider Electric’s full business portfolio across Europe Operations, representing the company’s contribution to the development of the EU’s agenda to accelerate Europe’s green and digital transformation.

With over 25 years’ experience at Schneider Electric, Philippe led various operations in the US and France at the start of his career, as well as in Global roles. In 2009, he became Schneider’s Chief Strategy & Technology Officer and, since 2011, Philippe has led different Global Businesses. In 2019, Philippe was appointed Schneider Electric’s Executive Vice-President of Energy Management and has been a member of its Executive Committee since 2009.

Philippe graduated from the Centrale Paris Engineering School and completed an MBA at Sciences Po Paris (France). Philippe is an active promoter of a zero carbon energy transition through the adoption of digital and electric technologies.
