Liquid and powder coatings supplier Axalta has pledged to become carbon-neutral in its operations by 2040.
It has also made 10 new sustainability commitments for 2030, which includes reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% and ensuring 80% of new technology and innovation developments have sustainability benefits.
In addition, Axalta is aiming for a 10% reduction of process waste and water use from its operations as well as ensuring 100% of key suppliers are assessed against a robust set of sustainability criteria by 2030.
