Cambridge City Council has launched a new scheme giving grants of up to £10,000 for businesses to cut carbon emissions.

The grants will be used by companies in the city to improve insulation, their energy management systems, introduce more solar power, low-energy lighting and water saving measures.

Cambridge’s plan to achieve net zero by 2030 has led to more ambitious schemes and targets being set for the decarbonisation of the city.

The applications deadline provided by the council for grants is 11th March 2022.
