HydraPak achieves climate-neutral certification

HydraPak, a manufacturer of soft flasks and other hydration consumer products, has announced the company has been certified as climate-neutral.

It achieved the climate-neutral certification for its entire business, including its Polar Bottle and Bottle Bright brands.

The company partnered with non-profit organisation Climate Neutral and measured its carbon footprint, working to reduce future emissions and offset its impacts.

To maintain and improve achievement, HydraPak intends to identify and measure all of the carbon emissions from its business activities from manufacturing to delivery, purchase carbon credits to completely offset its carbon footprint and develop and implement plans to reduce and eliminate future emissions.

It has produced a limited edition water bottle, RECON Renovo, in celebration of becoming carbon neutral, with $6 (£4.4) donated to Climate Neutral – which equates to an offset of one metric tonne of carbon – with every bottle sold.

Jennifer Krupey, Director of Marketing and Ecommerce at HydraPak said: “We not only aim to provide the highest performing and longest lasting performance hydration solutions on the market but to also reduce our environmental impact.”
