Henkel and Pregis team up for sustainable protective packaging solutions

German chemical and consumer goods company Henkel and innovative flexible packaging provider Pregis have joined forces for advanced sustainable protective packaging solutions.

They jointly developed the recently rebranded shipping solution, Pregis EverTec, a lightweight, recyclable paper cushioned mailer, manufactured with EPIX technology from Henkel Adhesive Technologies.

According to the companies, the EverTec mailer is a durable package that can decrease material waste as well as reduce reliance on corrugated boxes and improve distribution efficiency, while providing consumers with a recyclable option.

The EPIX technology is said to enhance paper product functionality and improve performance while maintaining the sustainability and recyclability.

Both Henkel and Pregis are signatories to the Climate Pledge, which means they have committed to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040.
