Colt Group has pledged to achieve net zero carbon emissions for its own operations by 2030.

The technology and data company has set science-based targets, approved by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 46% by 2030 and to significantly reduce the Scope 3 emissions throughout its supply chain.

By 2023, Colt has pledged to use 75% renewable electricity for all its sites globally and have 75% of its fleet as electric vehicles (EVs) and a 100% switch to renewable gas by the end of the decade.

Niclas Sanfridsson, CEO, said: “Our business has a substantial impact on the planet and I am delighted to announce that we are embarking on our journey to achieve global net zero carbon emissions for all of our operations in Colt by 2030.”
