Colt commits to net zero by 2030

Colt Group has pledged to achieve net zero carbon emissions for its own operations by 2030.

The technology and data company has set science-based targets, approved by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 46% by 2030 and to significantly reduce the Scope 3 emissions throughout its supply chain.

By 2023, Colt has pledged to use 75% renewable electricity for all its sites globally and have 75% of its fleet as electric vehicles (EVs) and a 100% switch to renewable gas by the end of the decade.

Niclas Sanfridsson, CEO, said: “Our business has a substantial impact on the planet and I am delighted to announce that we are embarking on our journey to achieve global net zero carbon emissions for all of our operations in Colt by 2030.”
