SSE Energy Solutions’ fixed energy plans now include their 100% renewable electricity
Green electricity from our UK wind farms
At SSE, it’s our mission to make traceable green electricity available to all businesses in the UK. That’s why from now on, all our new fixed-price energy contracts will include 100% renewable electricity.
Our renewable electricity is generated by SSE Renewables, our sister company in the SSE Group – clean, green power from our 42 UK wind farms and 52 hydropower stations.1
And it’s backed by Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) with independent verification by EcoAct, an Atos company, so it’s easy to report zero carbon emissions for electricity.

As the UK and Ireland’s largest renewable electricity generator, SSE is investing £7.5bn in the green transition by 2025. We have a further 8GW of new offshore wind, onshore wind and hydro projects in the pipeline – enough electricity for 1.5 million businesses.

For the UK to meet its net zero targets, it’s important all businesses are able to adopt traceable renewable energy, and this move makes it easy for them to do so.”
