Port of Tallinn ranked ‘most biodiverse company in the Baltics’

Port of Tallinn has been recognised as the company that values natural biodiversity the most in the Baltics.

Swedish consultancy Ecogain rated the 50 largest companies in the Baltics and gave Port of Tallinn the highest rating for its sustainable development goals.

Ecogain has highlighted the Port of Tallinn’s science-based approach to the conservation of biodiversity in its newly published ‘Biodiversity Index’, which it has compiled based on companies’ development plans and sustainability reports.

Ellen Kaasik, Head of Quality and Environmental Management at Port of Tallinn, commented: “Our long-term goal is to keep the coastal biodiversity in the areas related to our activities at the same level until 2030 with the help of a science-based approach”.
