The future Net Zero Standard Powered by CBN Expert‘s simplicity and usability allows busy companies to go green whilst getting on with their day-to-day business.
That’s the suggestion from Paul Smith, CEO of Full Power Utilities, who spoke to us about how the Standard gives businesses from any sector a way to record where they are in terms of their current carbon emissions, monitor ongoing decarbonisation progress and benchmark themselves against their competitors and the rest of the economy.
Noting that measuring and certifying emissions is “the right thing to do”, Paul highlighted the tool gives SMEs much-needed guidance in a simple platform – he said: “It can be tough for an SME to put time and resources into delivering net zero on their own.”
He added: “We wanted something that was accredited, that had some meaning behind it, so it wasn’t just talking about doing something, it was something that was backed up.”
