DB Group achieves FNZ Standard for its carbon footprint

Utilising the FNZ Standard Powered by CBN Expert, DB Group has created its benchmark carbon footprint and it has been certified as 43,196.44 kg Co2 for the period April 2018 year to March 2019.

DB Group’s Bryan McAlpine, Head of Environmental, stated: “The FNZ Standard Powered by CBN Expert is the roadmap to a greener future.  The Standard helps us to translate our energy, transport and financial data into a credible account of our year on year carbon emissions.  With a purpose-built carbon management platform, the FNZ Standard will help us to regularly collect our data, highlight areas that may need the attention first and most importantly reward us for strengthening our commitment to carbon reductions through an accredited programme.”

He continued, “The platform is user friendly and uploading the data proved to be extremely straight forward.  Within hours we had a populated platform comparing our emission data including metrics to further analyse against our milestones. The challenge now is to achieve our platinum accreditation.“
