Mahindra & Mahindra and REE Automotive sign MOU for commercial EV development

Mahindra & Mahindra and REE Automotive have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore the development and manufacturing of commercial electric vehicles (EVs).

The collaboration will leverage REE’s integration of powertrain, suspension and steering components in the arch of a vehicle wheel, as well as Mahindra’s vehicle design, engineering, sourcing capability and manufacturing assets

The partnership will support REE’s global customer need for up to 250,000 electric commercial vehicle units over the span of several years and will eventually be scaled up to support the global as well as the Indian market.
