Gaia says no! Episode 6 – Special:Jonathon Porritt

Thanks as ever for listening in to our new series "Gaia Says No!" - exploring the nature of human activities on the planet.

In this special edition it is my pleasure to chat to a titan of the green movement, not just in this country but internationally.

Sir Jonathon Porritt, who was relaxed enough to let me call him just Jonathon, was one of the directors of Friends of the Earth, a long term member of the Green Party and created the Forum for the Future.

His latest book Hope in Hell is a treatise on how we have in his eyes, a decade to save ourselves from our planetary destructive behaviours.

We have a fantastic and engaging conversation covering everything from what drives him to be fighting for the environment for 50 years, his take on business' role in changing behaviour and his ferment dislike of nuclear energy.
