Infosys signs Climate Pledge and commits to reaching carbon neutrality by 2040

Indian multinational consulting corporation Infosys has signed up for the Climate Pledge, an initiative co-founded by Amazon and Global Optimism.

Under the Climate Pledge, participants commit to reaching carbon neutrality across businesses by 2040, a full decade before the Paris Agreement's 2050 deadline.

As part of the pledge, Infosys plans to regularly measure and report greenhouse gas emissions, help decarbonise businesses it works with and offset its carbon emissions.

It has also implemented a portfolio of community-based emission reduction projects to achieve its zero carbon goal.
