Australian college sources 130% of its electricity needs from renewable energy

A college in Melbourne is now sourcing around 130% of its electricity needs from renewable energy.

A new 600kW rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system and a renewable energy offtake agreement with Flow Power are enabling the Presbyterian Ladies' College in Melbourne to reach its environmentally-friendly goals.

RACV Solar has delivered the project as part of a contract with the Australian private school - Andy McCarthy, Chief Executive Officer, said: "The closer you look at this installation, the more intricate and detailed it becomes.

"This was a monumental challenge for our engineering and delivery teams, but we are thrilled to say that they have raised the bar even higher on this project."
