It is vital to build new social and economic structures that are more in tune with sustainability to enable longer and healthier human lives.
That’s the suggestion from Mike Hughes, UK & Ireland Zone President at Schneider Electric, who spoke to future Net Zero Founder Sumit Bose last week.
Mr Hughes stressed the trend towards decarbonisation was not just being driven by businesses but by society itself - he added that a significant shifting point had come has been reached, with the increasing scale of public actions against pollution, fossil fuels and plastics signifying this momentum "is not going away".
