12MW solar farm in Buckinghamshire energised

Anesco Ltd has powered up its new 12MW solar photovoltaic farm in Buckinghamshire in the UK.

The project is expected to save up to 5,000 tonnes of carbon every year and produce enough energy to power up to 2,800 houses.

Mark Futyan, Anesco CEO, commented: “Solar and battery storage have a vital role to play in the decarbonisation of the energy system and the UK’s transition to net zero. We are delighted to hold long-standing relationships with investors such as Gresham House, who are committed to actively supporting this transition.”

Over the next 25 years, the site is to be managed and operated by Anesco.
